Be Merry and come create your own unique foraged greens wreath while enjoying some local craft brews!
Come join Libby of Wickaboag Valley Farm for a fun evening of foraged greens wreath making!
During this workshop you will be provided with everything you need to make a unique 16 inch foraged greens wreath plus one Timberyard beverage of your choice! You don’t need any experience or to be “crafty” to make your own wreath. Just come and have fun! The class begins with a short discussion/instructions on wreath making followed by individual guidance throughout the workshop. You will be provided with a 16 inch wire wreath form, an abundance of different sustainably foraged greens, foraged winter berry, pinecones, wire for attaching your greens, and an assortment of bows to decorate your wreath with. Feel free to bring any additional “add on” items (wreath picks, cinnamon sticks, dried oranges, etc) but we feel that these wreaths look best undressed .
We are using natural/raw materials and therefore some of them may be quite prickly or have sap on them. Some individuals may find it helpful to bring their own gardening gloves to protect their hands as these are not provided for the class. By signing up for this class you agree that Libby/Wickaboag Valley Farm will not be held liable for any injuries occurred during the class or thereafter.
About Wickaboag Valley Farm:
Libby has been an avid forager for over 15 years. She has strong ties to the earth, nature and animals, and specializes in self taught mycology, tree, wild edible & medicinal identification. Her love for animals and nature led her to begin her homestead where she lovingly tends to Nigerian Dwarf goats, and a few other furred & feathered friends. You may see Wickaboag Valley Farm at local markets selling cold process soap, bath & body products, and their own small batch maple syrup, or at educational agricultural events.
Wickaboag Valley Farm no longer breeds animals, but focuses on caring for animals the best way they know how. Libby possesses a wealth of knowledge about small ruminants health including their nutritional, physical and emotional needs and is always willing to educate others about them. In 2025 Wickaboag Valley Farm will be growing more native medicinal plants, vegetables, herbs and flowers, while we take a step back from animal breeding and use.
